Parent-Child Eco Day
For one day only, for just Y3,500, the staff of the Palace Hotel, one of Tokyo’s longest established and most exclusive places to stay, will give you a guided tour of the hotel’s raw garbage recycling systems. Watch as the mangled waste slurps down the chutes, gasp as the waste paper makes its way to be pulped or incinerated. And then, having worked up an appetite, retire to the Terrace Restaurant Swan, where a special lunch will be provided. Tour in Japanese, but commentary may not be necessary.
